The Challenge
Government security systems remain important for ensuring Human Security against internal and external threats, yet evidence from recent conflicts shows that state forces can be inadequate and turned against the people they were meant to protect.
The Solution
That which is almost impossible to accomplish by the unaided efforts of a single individual may often be easily accomplished by the cooperation of many.
Real security is achieved through partnerships, cooperation, and community involvement. Individuals are active participants in creating the highest good for all. Neighbors, community security, city, and state security must collaborate effectively. Communities will flourish when Human Security becomes the priority.
